My name is Dylan Jensen. I grew up playing every sport you can think of. My family is packed full of athletes, coaches, and athletic directors. We love sports and we LOVE competition.

To this day, I still play open gyms whenever and wherever I can. I'm constantly playing in random gyms on different courts with people that aren't familiar to me. The challenge with this is that I never know how well-kept a floor is going to be. My whole life I have wiped my shoes with my hands or spit on the floor to get better traction. This behavior never changed. I decided there must be some portable form of grip I could use. There wasn't.

I created Solegripz so that athletes can travel with grip wherever they go. They don't have to use messy sprays that don't work, try to carry around huge pads, or come up with creative solutions like wet towels and hand sanitizer.
